Marco Rinaldi began his professional journey after earning a Master’s Degree in Structural Engineering from Politecnico di Milano, one of Italy’s top technical institutions. During these formative years, he developed deep technical skills in structural mechanics, material behavior, and seismic design areas that would shape his future career path. Soon after graduation, Marco joined Studio Ingegneria Rossi in Turin, where he worked as a Junior Structural Engineer. Here, he contributed to a range of residential and public sector projects.
2015 – 2020
International Expansion (New York)
Driven by a desire to explore cutting-edge methods and gain international exposure, Marco moved to Berlin in 2015 to work with BauWerk Solutions GmbH. There, he took part in several sustainable construction projects focused on steel-framed structures, green building compliance, and early-stage BIM modeling. His ability to adapt to new regulatory environments and digital tools positioned him as a forward-thinking engineer. In 2017, Marco transitioned to Urban Axis Engineering in New York City, stepping into a senior structural engineering role.

In 2020, Marco advanced into a strategic leadership role as Lead Structural Engineer at R+M Engineering Group, a major consultancy based in New York. Here, he manages a team of engineers, project managers, and technical consultants, overseeing the structural planning and execution of large-scale commercial and infrastructure projects. He is responsible for design integrity, safety compliance, budget alignment, and client satisfaction, all while ensuring projects meet New York’s rigorous construction codes and environmental regulations.
